How to Join

1. Choose your Share Size

Full Share = weekly gardening shift & veggies

Half Share  = Every other week gardening & veggies (60% cost of full share)

Harvest is shared equally amongst participants who show up at each shift.

2.  Choose your Share Price

We have a pricing model with three levels, which is intended to allow (subsidize) a certain number of participants whom may not be able to afford full price.  The three pricing levels are “Supporter, Market, and Access”, as described below.  The Market price for the program works out to $20.28  per week for the 18 weeks of bountiful harvests we have planned.

2026 Prices

Supporter: $457 – is above the Market Price.  If you are able, please consider purchasing your share above the market price point as a Supporter because it enables us to offer more shares at the discounted Access price. This allows us to diversify our community and provides access to families who otherwise may not be able to afford to participate.  Half share at Supporter level is $275

Market Price: $365– is the standard Full Share price. Half Share is $220

Access:  $272 – is a discounted price for a limited number of qualifying individuals who are committed to farming but are raising children or have other dependents, have significant debt, have medical expenses not covered by the province, have educational expenses, receive public assistance, have immigration related expenses, are a senior citizen, and/or have limited access to family wealth and support during times of need.  Half share at the Access level is $163.

3.  Choose your Preferred Shift

Although we will make every attempt to provide your first choice per your preference, shifts have a maximum size of 12 and some shifts fill quickly.  Should your first choice be full, you will be assigned to your second choice.

Shifts are as follows:

Monday /Wednesday/Thursday 4:00 – 7:30 pm
Tuesday/Friday (NEW!):  9:00 am – 12:30 pm
Saturday/Sunday: 8:30 am – 12:00 pm

Please note that per Community Farm Code of Conduct, you are required to show up to your shift on time. If the time does not suit your work and home schedule on a regular basis please consider a shift that works for you for the entire season.

5.  Submit your payment

Your shift will only be confirmed after payment is received.  Some shifts fill quickly so make sure to secure your spot if your first choice is important to you.

We only accept e-transfer as a payment option.  If this is not possible, please let us know and alternative arrangements will be made.
